We have opened a new portfolio at VolluzPhoto.com. “Little Green Apples” contains images of Trees, Plants & Flowers.
We started with Weather because we were using some examples of sunsets to demonstrate techniques for exposing both for the lightness of the sky and the darkness of the foreground, then combining the two exposures into one image. Some of those blog posts are still coming. We are continuing with a portfolio about flora, particularly flowers, because at our retail outlet in Elgin, Texas, Lathers Hair Salon, Rhonda prefers our images of flowers on display for sale.
There are only six photos so far. Flowers from Phuket, Thailand (before the tidal wave), and trees from Washington state. We have a lot more to come. We are revisiting all our previously edited prints with the new tools we are working with, as discussed in my last post.
If you have a chance, drop by and check it out. Then let us know what you think. Thanks.
Ray

I am really impressed together with your writing talents as well as with the structure in your weblog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it yourself? Anyway stay up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a nice weblog like this one today..
Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
See below.
Thank you very much for the compliments, Oxiche. There are many ways to write a blog, and the way I do it is not the easiest (least time consuming or technically challenging). There are free sites that cater to those who just want to post a blog. I wanted to set up a commercial site to display and sell my photographs. The blog is a place where I can try to help new photographers learn some of the tricks I have over the years, and am still learning, and to discuss updates on the business and photos or books we are producing. I publish and maintain the site myself, which is one reason it doesn’t change as much as I would like, so I do not pay others to create or publish the content. I do pay the hosting service and I did purchase a “theme” that sets up how the pages are laid out and interact, including the blog. I would be happy to give you some more recommendations if you would like to send me an email through our contact page at the link below. God bless.
Its really a nice and useful piece of info. I am glad that you shared this useful information with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.
